Mortimer Jones and the Necromancer

Mortimer Jones is an adventurer, brother, son, boyfriend, and most importantly a sorcerer. Before we get to his recent activities, let us go to his past. So far back to the day he was born. Mortimer Jones was in fact part of a prophecy. This prophecy states that the child of two ordinary people that are aware of magic and sorcery who is born in the forest of light shall be the one who ends the life of the necromancer and his army. The birth of a child should not be a solemn event, but rather a glorious one. In this case, it was worrisome. The fairies, elves, and sorcerers came bearing gifts for the child. The fairies presented the child with his rightful magic power. The elves gave him an elixir of protection that will keep him alive until his 19th birthday. The sorcerer’s keep his gift in a chest under lock and key to be presented at his 19th birthday as well. While the ceremony went on, everyone feared the necromancer's forces would arrive to destroy the child. Sadly the forces did arrive and a fight ensued.
